The Hanged Man-Reversal

The Hanged Man of the Qabalistic Tarot has been associated with Judas who supposedly sold Jesus out for thirty pieces of silver and represents the planet Neptune  which hides the true meaning of this very profound story of man redemption and transformation.  The imagine of the Hanged Man is one of a man turned upside down, inverted, and in a position contrary to that in which we find most people.  It represents what the basis of the occult approach to life states which is that the foundation of the everyday practice of a person who lives the life of obedience to esoteric law, is that of reversal to the more usual ways of thinking, speaking and doing.  This Neptunian force of water further illustrates the quality of water as mute, silent; the unostentatious reversal of one's way of life while at the same time having perfect tolorence for other people's way of life-- characteristic of the practical occultist.  It is his reversal of thought or his point of view regarding the reality to which most people adhere, and his alignment to Divine Law, the tree on which he hangs, that affords him such serenity and peace. Richard Gardner in The Tarot Speaks says it best: "I am the Hanged Man the sign of truth and most truth is like me, the opposite of waht people think it is, so I have always ben called wrong and my life threatened by a populace who have not passed through the evlen stages of ggrowth necessary to be able to see."

The Institute for Conscious Global Change

I would like to tell you about this non-profit organization I founded: The Institue for Conscious Global Change.  The information I communicate in my three books: Understanding Your Choice, Unveiling the Secrets of the Feminine Principle and The Role of Consciousness in Governance was designed to present a new outlook of our life here on planet earth.  The Institute is meant to give a framework for the externalization of the great Divine Plan, which is mankind's liberation from ignorance. In order for this divine plan to become a reality here, the physical, emotional and mental development of Humanity has to improve significantly.  One needs to be in a state of receptivity and for that to take place, mankind's focus has to shift from the outer to the inner.  It is not surprising that we are experiencing many troubles regarding all aspects of life...housing, jobs, oil, relationships, etc.  In order to have a new reality the old one has to be destroyed and to accomplish this, one's thinking must change radically. You might have heard the phrase: "Everybody wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die."  One must die to the old to embrace the new and to that end we are on the threshold of a brand new reality on this planet.  Welcome to the New Age!!! Happy Belated 4th of July!!!

I hope everyone had a memorable 4th of July.  My third book "The Role of Consciousness in Governance" emphasizes the need for us as citizens to understand our responsibility to ourselves and our world.  Ageless wisdom teaches that as an individual becomes more conscious he expands his understanding of  loyalty to his brothers and sisters beyond his national boundaries.  He becomes an internationalist and this does not mean that he negates his own country and the love he has for it but that he come to know that his brethen live in every land.  Here is chapter eight from my book The Role of Consciousness..."  The Idea That Is The United States of America.pdf (105KB) I hope it brings some insight into why the founding fathers established this great land, which belong not only to the citizens within the geographic boders of the United States of America but for all those who are and will become "American" wherever he/she lives in any land.

My first blog

This is my first blog and I am a little unsure about how this will turn out.  However, the ned to connect with you my readers is greater than my intrepidation at doing this.  I would very much like to start a conversation about the things I write about in my books and anything else you want to discuss along these lines.  I have written three book: Undersatanding Your Choice which I completed in 2001 but has not been published widely because it contains quite a few pages of color and so it is more expensive to self-publish.  However, it is available at www.ebookmall.com and I will make it availabale here also when I figure out how to do it.  I also have 100 signed bound copies whcih are available for $25 each.  For those who are interested you can contact me at arvesta33@yahoo.com. My second Unveiling the Secrets of the Feminine Principle is available here and I hope you will tell all your freinds and family about it. I really feel that is book should be read by everyone and especially women who are central to humanity's liberation.  And women you MUST take your power back!!!  mankind at large is counting on you and without your true power being exerted in a healthy and conscious manner the work on behalf of humnaity cannot be accomplished. My third book  The Role of Consciousness in Governance will be available late summer and explains the fact that there is a Divine Plan which has been in place since the beginnning of time and now you will know what it is. And, the United States of Americaa is central to the unfoldment of this plan.  I will post chapter eight of this book I titled "The Idea That Is The United States of America" This will be my 4th of July birthday gift to us.  If we only knew the great gift America is to our world we would be better stewards.  I would love to hear your thoughts and start a discussion that will hopefully advance our collective understanding about the enigma called the Divine Mother, the awesome Earth she created and the Plan she put in place before she brought this planet into manifestation.
